I love The Dressing Room, but I am absolutely disgusted to see the It Girls in it this round.
There are many more worthy designers in Second Life who have not been revealed to be racists on flickr and via their comments to other designers and organizers of SL events.
They should absolutely be boycotted, by associating them with TDR you are tainting your entire event.
Yeah, there are a lot of things this week that I'd really like to buy -- especially that gorgeous skin from Tableau Vivant -- but I'll be staying away from TDR while It Girls are featured.
It Girls has been using racism and homophobia (not subtle racism, but in-your-face, n-word / f-word racism and homophobia) as a means to promote their brand. They've been accusing other designers -- designers who are regular participants in TDR -- of copybotting just to draw attention to themselves. They've been stirring up drama in every way possible just so people will know who they are.
This is not a brand that deserves the traffic that TDR brings. As a result, other, much more deserving brands will be losing sales they would have had because of their association with It Girls.
